I'm a dedicated writer with a focus on music and culture. That being said, I never stray away from going outside of my niche.

A Summary.

As the Editor-in-Chief of the music publication I started from scratch, The Indie Sound, I'm constantly looking for a way to expose my audience to the little guy.

Whether that be through a feature story on a fresh band out of Columbus, or the rising effects of poverty in southeastern Ohio, I aim to make an impact with my writing.

I hope not only to gain the skills necessary to grow as a writer and a storyteller in the competitive field of journalism today, but to grow as a human being as well.

In 2016, I helped to start up Scripps Hispanic Network at Ohio University. SHN focuses on providing Hispanic and Latino students with an interest in media the resources and networking opportunities they need to succeed.

Being bilingual and of a Hispanic background, I hope to shed light on topics involving diversity while also helping young, aspiring journalists such as myself.

Writing is a way of life for me. I'm just trying to make an impact.
